Working with Louise and Chris was an absolute joy—they were the kind of couple you dream about!
They completely entrusted their wedding vision to their Honey Lane team, allowing them to fully enjoy the fun and excitement of the planning process.

We sat down with Louise and Chris to reflect on their stunning wedding day, and get some BTS goss!
Describe the vibe you wanted to create for your day?
We were keen to let the stunning Redleaf speak for itself by keeping everything else simple and elegant, while also adding a few touches of fun and flare to make the party vibe for our guests. Having the time to have fun together, and with our guests, was priority for us.
What made you decide on hiring a wedding stylist/coordinator for your wedding?
In short: we’d seen on socials that Honey Lane had extensive experience at Redleaf and what they had done at the venue previously and absolutely loved the look of it all.
We wanted everything to appear seamless and relaxed on the day, and to have time to just enjoy it, and we knew engaging Honey Lane would make that a reality.
(Fun fact: we were not wrong).

Took Redleaf’s and Honey Lane’s recommendations on vendors. Each and every one of them made the day and kept everything so stress free and exciting for us.
Can’t say enough about how perfect Howard Shearman, Fennel & Co Catering and Blumenthal Photography were if we tried (to name only a few!).
Favourite moment from your day?
Two cute/cringe moments come to mind…:
Lou - walking down the aisle and seeing my handsome husband to be. Pure joy.
Chris - I know better than to disagree with my beautiful wife. I did look rather handsome on the day.*
*I couldn’t help myself, but clearly, the real answer is when I looked down the beautiful rows of trees that framed Lou and her Dad walking down
towards me. I’m positive I’m not alone in saying that’s a favourite moment of the day.
Words of advice – anything you’d like to share with future couples?
To prioritise being able to have fun together on the day and to listen to your event planner when they propose ideas to make that a reality -
they know best and only have your and your guests’ best interests/hopes in mind.
A funny moment FROM YOUR DAY?
Is it a cop out to say that it’s impossible to choose?
If so, it’s hard to beat Lou’s Mum presenting Chris with a t-shirt about how lucky he is to have her as a mother-in-law –
that broke out in a ‘put it on’ chant and is now captured elegantly in various photos.
tell us about your dress?
I fell in love with the stunning ‘Chosen by Kyha’ two piece immediately.
It was perfectly me and I couldn’t of felt more beautiful, comfortable and glamorous than I did on my wedding day.
What did you love about your venue?
Well, outside of the Redleaf villa and grounds being as breathtaking as they are, it’s clearly its versatility and the way
we were able to utilise the different locations on the property for different moments on the wedding day. From the magical lavender
garden, to the Garden Room area, to the now-permanent marquee flooring location - it all flows together so perfectly, and
with the villa itself as the backdrop, was an unreal setting for us and our guests.
Testimonial - did Honey Lane meet your expectations?
So comfortably, exceeded even. Taking the pressure off all the decision making made it all seamless from our perspective.
They listened to our vision and captured ‘us’ every step of the way.
We couldn’t have been happier with each and every aspect of the day, and even still hear from our guests about their highlights.
Our wedding was absolutely magical, best day of our lives. It was filled with so much love, fun and core memories we will never forget.
We cannot thank Honey Lane enough for all of their contributions and being the best in the business.
They were a pleasure to work with - shout out to the glorious Poppy and Sophie! – they made us feel like the only clients in the world.
